The Information Assurance Courseware Evaluation (IACE) Program at the National Security Agency (NSA) endorses the University of Tulsa's Information Assurance Certifcate as meeting the elemental standards set forth by the Committee on National Security Systems (CNSS) for information security training. Further, the IACE has certified that the University of Tulsa Information Assurance curriculum meets national training standards at the highest levels.
The Certificate in Information Security offered through the Division of Continuing Education consists of the following five course offerings:
Introduction to Computer Security
Protecting Networks and Automated Information Systems
IT Security Risk Management
Secure Electronic Commerce
Enterprise Security Management
In addition to being awarded fifteen undergraduate credits, graduates who sucessfully complete all of the required course work and exams are eligible to be awarded the following credential:
NSTISSI 4011: Information Security Professional
CNSSI 4012: Senior System Manager
Classes are offered in the evening and are designed to meet the needs of working professionals or individuals with daytime commitments. Discounted tuition and financial aid is available.
